In non-political, non-Lakers v. Celtics sports news, the Red Wings won! Woohoo! Congratulations to the Detroit Red Wings! This is why Detroit is Hockeytown. I don't play hockey and can barely skate (this is the result of growing up in Florida), but I'm pysched for the RED WINGS!!! Time to toss the octopi! For those unfamiliar with the Wings, there is a tradition in Detroit of tossing an octopus onto the ice during the playoffs. Explanation here (thanks to my coworker George who found it for me).
