I've heard all the stories about long lines, but I thot to myself, as Election Day approached, that I would do it old school: go to the actualy polling place, stand in line if I had to do, put the little ink marker down, just like always. Probably see the same nice little old lady. The polling place is around the corner from my apartment. Very convenient.
I did see the nice little old lady. After standing in line for an hour and a half. I got there, saw the line, and went back home to get the paper, so I would have something to do while I was standing in line. Good thing I did. I think I read most of the paper.
So much for voting old school. Next time, I will take the absentee ballot thing a little more seriously.
