How's this for an emotional rollercoaster. Madelyn Dunham, Obama's grandmother, passed away today, at the age of 86. I lost my last grandmother earlier this year, so I can remember the pain and grief clearly. Fortunately, I have both of my parents left, and both of them, including my Republican father, voted for Obama. Looks like he made the right decision to be with her a few days ago.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Obama family.
