Changing the narrative

Sigh. So Hillary isn't dropping out, at least not yet. What's left of her arguments is evaporating. She argued that Obama can't win big states - he crushed her in North Carolina yesterday, and came very close in Indiana. So much for that argument! Oh well. What's interesting now is to watch how the narrative in the media, which has given new meaning to the term "zig zag," has now swung in Obama's favor. We've been hearing for weeks that Obama's problem is that he can't get white, working class voters. But now guess what the problem is? From the NY Times:

Yet [Hillary] was unable on Tuesday to build her base of support substantially beyond the white, working-class voters who had sustained her for the last month.
So a couple of days ago, the problem was that Obama couldn't win white, working class voters. Now the problem is that Hillary can't expand beyond her base beyond those voters. I think Hillary has the bigger problem. Working class people are not stupid. I've had lots of working class jobs. Lack of a college degree does not equate with inability to think. They can listen to Barack Obama every bit as well as I can.

Like the man said, it ain't over til it's over. Ain't that the truth.
